Candice Bryant is an accomplished strategic communications leader with more than 20 years of experience shaping narrative and culture for some of the world’s most complex organizations, from the Central Intelligence Agency to Google.
Candice’s career is marked by her ability to guide institutions through periods of significant change. At the CIA, she rose to become Head of Public Communications, leading the modernization of the Agency’s public engagement and developing a deeper bench of executive spokespeople. At Google, she provided strategic communications counsel on the company’s most critical challenges—from navigating the global pandemic and the future of work to the evolution of Google Search into an AI-powered experience.
Currently, Candice is focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and public trust, exploring how the field of communications can guide the responsible adoption of transformative technologies. She is passionate not only about scaling her own work with AI but also about empowering others to do the same.
Candice holds a Master’s in International Affairs from American University’s School of International Service and a B.S. in Political Science from Towson University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, a senior acquisitions leader and Navy veteran, their daughter, and two dogs.
